Ispaghula Husk is used to treat:
Ispaghula Husk contains Ispaghula husk, a dietary fibre derived from the seed coat of the plant Plantago ovata Forssk.
Generally, Ispaghula Husk is safe to use, but some may experience:
Contraindications

Each spoonful contains 3.5 gm of Psyllium husk as the active ingredient. When mixed with water, it forms a thick gel that helps to relieve constipation and regularize bowel movements.

When mixed with water, Fibosyl Effervescent Powder forms a gel-like substance that passes through the digestive system and increases the water content in the stools. This gel increases bowel movements and lubricates the intestine, facilitating the easy passage of stools.
Usual dose: 1 spoonful 1-3 times daily or as per doctor's advice.
No significant interactions have been observed with other medicines.
Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal tract obstruction or threatening obstruction of the bowel.
